MOSAIC MOMENTS

Back in August, I told you about a great program called Potty Training Boot Camp. Suzanne Riffel, the author of the Potty Boot Camp book developed this great program to potty train children. However, she didn’t have a program for those with Down syndrome. When she and I met we discussed this need and she graciously donated 20 of her eBooks free so that these families could give her feedback on the method that she has written, in hopes to develop a method for those with Down syndrome and mosaic Down syndrome.

Unfortunately, the 20 families who have received this book haven’t responded actively enough for her to develop a new chapter in her book about potty training those with Down syndrome. They have said that the method seems to be working, just more slowly. And, not all of them are actively potty training.

So, Suzanne is re-offering her eBook for those who want to truly try this method with their child who has Down syndrome or mosaic Down syndrome.

Here’s the deal…

1. You have to be ready to train your child within the next 60 days.

2. You promise to read the eBook and follow the method given.

3. You will keep notes (a journal may be best) on the method saying what worked, what didn’t work, and how you needed to modify the method (if you did)

4. You will notify Suzanne at least once a month on the progress and give her your notes thus far.

5. It does not matter how old your child is, as long as they are at least 2 yrs old and ready for potty training.

The first 20 families to leave a comment on this blog with their name and email address (you don’t have to put your email address in the message, just on your profile when you are signing in) will be contacted by Suzanne and given the eBook.

This is a wonderful opportunity for everyone who has a child with Down syndrome or mosaic Down syndrome and is not potty trained yet. Not only will you, the participant, get great advice on how to potty train your child, the entire Down syndrome community will benefit in the long run from this special section in Suzanne’s book Potty Training Boot Camp!
